The Festival is organized by the Edmonton Jazz Festival Society (EJFS) to promote live jazz music in Edmonton. KRP is proud to support Mr. Barth Bradley, one of our partners who is currently the president of the EJFS.

In addition to the Jazz Festival, the EJFS founded the Edmonton Jazz Orchestra and operates an annual workshop called Jazzworks directed at up and coming jazz musicians. The Orchestra is a ‘big band’ typically made up of top local musicians with international credentials. Often, the Orchestra enjoys guest appearances from national and international jazz artists throughout the year. This gives fans as well as local performers the opportunity to experience jazz music from around the world.
