Three new benefits have been implemented to provide support to individuals whose employment has been impacted by COVID-19.

The Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB)

The Canada Recovery Benefit is available to self-employed individuals and other workers who are not eligible for EI but still require income support because they are unable to return to work.

The Canada Recovery Caregiving Benefit (CRCB)

The Canada Recovery Caregiving Benefit will be paid to workers who are unable to work because they must care for family members or dependents.

The Canada Recovery Sickness Benefit (CRSB)

The Canada Recovery Sickness Benefit provides support to eligible individuals who are ill or must self-isolate for reasons related to COVID-19.
