Dana Rittenhouse, TEP, CEATaxation
Dana is the Manager of Estates and Trusts in the Taxation department with KRP. As a designated Trust and Estate Practitioner, Dana provides taxation services for both trusts and estates including tax planning, tax compliance filing preparation, dispute resolution with Canada Revenue Agency and finds fulfillment in her role of working with executors throughout the sometimes difficult Estate process. For financial professionals that work in the world of numbers, addressing clients' emotional issues can be a daunting business. That is what makes KRP’s Dana Rittenhouse different. As a designated Trust and Estate Practitioner and Certified Executor Advisor, Dana also has significant experience working at a funeral home, and being the wife to a Canadian Armed Forces Chaplain. For grieving clients dealing with estate filings and post-mortem tax planning, Dana’s empathy and understanding goes a long way.

Dana has been practicing with KRP since 2013 and has specialized in Estates and Trusts since 2015. Dana manages the KRP portfolio of Trusts and oversees the Estate filings, with experience in non-resident issues, port-mortem tax planning and has earned the designation of Certified Executor Advisor, providing advice to executors throughout the process. In addition, Dana manages the KRP tax technicians who are responsible for pre/post assessment reviews – corporate and personal, annual t-slip filings for all corporate clients, voluntary disclosures, personal tax compliance, dispute resolution with Canada Revenue Agency.
