Barth’s practice focuses on the construction, aviation, professional services, non-profit, government, property development, retail and manufacturing sectors. Barth is a certified family enterprise advisor and oversees our firm’s Family Enterprise services.

Experience
Barth has extensive experience assisting corporations in taxation, financing and succession matters. As a certified family enterprise advisor, he also has expertise in assisting families with intergenerational wealth transfer and facilitating family conversations related to the governance of their family enterprise.
Barth’s active participation on boards and governing councils of not-for-profit organizations — including his role as president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta — has given him firsthand experience in board governance and strategic planning.
