Chad Knippel
Chad has more than 21 years’ experience working with owner-managed, privately-held companies and not-for-profit and government organizations. He’s a trusted business advisor to his clients for a wide range of services, including business start-up, accounting, assurance, internal controls, business processes, succession planning and tax strategies.

Experience
Chad has extensive experience in oil and gas-related industries, construction and trades companies, retail, professionals, not-for-profit organizations and educational institutions, both locally and internationally. His passion is helping his clients better understand their organizations so they can grow and improve every year.
He services clients under the Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises, Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations, International Financial Reporting Standards and Public Sector Accounting Standards.
Chad is also currently the past President of DFK Canada and past Advisory Board Member representing Canada with DFK International, the top ten global accountancy association. KRP has been a member of DFK Canada since 1981, and Chad took on the firm’s representation role with the association in 2012. He was elected Vice President of DFK Canada in 2016, prior to becoming President Elect in 2018 and then President in 2020.
