Nathan joined Kingston Ross Pasnak in 2022 and leads KRP’s indirect tax practice. His scope of practice includes GST/HST, provincial sales taxes, customs, and trade-related matters. Clients value his ability to demystify intricate tax matters and deliver clear and practical advice that supports informed decision-making.

Experience
Nathan brings a diverse professional background to his role. He began his career as an Infantry Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces before transitioning into senior financial leadership positions, including CFO and Controller roles for large Army formations operating across multiple provinces. This experience informs his pragmatic, risk-focused approach to tax advisory work.
As KRP’s Indirect Tax Advisor, Nathan assists clients with high-risk and complex transactions, supports engagements with tax authorities, develops strategies to minimize excise tax exposure, and identifies opportunities for tax recovery, including missed credits and rebates.
