Norma Escobar
Norma joined KRP in 2021 under Justin Rousseau's audit team. Her work focuses on extracting and normalizing large Bitcoin and cryptocurrency datasets for audit and assurance engagements.
Norma builds and maintains local applications that parse JSON, reconstructs balances from UTXO data, and records the data into structured Excel files. Her work is primarily used for institutional scale datasets involving exchanges, trading platforms, liquidity providers, custodians, treasuries, and funds.

Experience
Norma works primarily within the Bitcoin network and supports the audit team by ensuring Blockchain data is complete, accurate, and formatted for financial reporting procedures. Her technical work includes the development of python scripts for ingestion and cleaning of large volume datasets of wallet and transaction data. Norma also has experience running and querying Bitcoin nodes, working directly with RPC outputs, and works with API providers such as Blockchair, CoinGecko, MempoolSpace, and Etherscan for supplemental data.
